Local guidance is useful when you can trace a statement to its source and understand what that source does not establish.

Local rules start with the responsible authority

Permit guidance uses City, County, state and federal sources. Each evidence record retains its publisher, source location, review date and limitations. Some official sites restrict automated access; where indexed official text was used, the record says so.

A historical project file may explain what was investigated. It is not evidence of today’s water depth, construction condition or price.

Published prices are context, not a quote

Commercial ranges remain attributed to their publisher and original region. We do not average unlike work or convert a municipal budget into a residential rate. The calculator uses your own confirmed scope and price for a property budget.

About the waterfront imagery

The waterfront scenes are original AI-created architectural concepts. They do not depict a completed job, an inspected property or the operator’s work. Maps use separately sourced geographic data and are for orientation, not surveying.

When a source leaves a question open

Unconfirmed numeric height rules stay out of the height comparison. Dated fee documents retain their date. Source reviews should be repeated when an agency changes its process, a rule is amended or a significant storm changes local conditions.

The initial Naples research review was completed October 25, 2026, and the cited sources were rechecked on November 5, 2026. See resources and planning tools for a useful starting point.
